Please note the following:

• Prerequisites must be taken at a regionally accredited institution. Online courses and labs from regionally accredited institutions are also accepted.
• 100% of science prerequisite courses must be completed at the time of application. No exceptions will made for the completion of science coursework.
• All general education prerequisite courses must be completed by July 1 of the matriculation year.
• Each prerequisite course must be completed with a minimum grade of 2.0/C or with a passing binary grade (e.g., pass, credit, satisfactory).
• We accept binary grades (pass, satisfactory, or credit) for up to seven of the science prerequisite courses.
• Courses with a binary grade will not be used in the calculation of the Science Prerequisite GPA or Last Three Semester GPA.
• Applicants will be invited for the interview based on the File Review Assessment and their performance in Academic Review. Visit our Academic Requirements page for more information about the program’s minimum academic requirements. Applicants will also need to have all required letters of recommendation submitted at the time of application.
  
• A criminal background check will be required to accept any offer of admission. The background check will not be used in the selection process and will not be started before an applicant accepts the offer.

We also want to assure you of the following:

• We continue to recommend 150 hours of experience with a veterinarian. However, this is not a requirement.
• We do not require or consider the GRE or MCAT.
• We do not have a supplemental application fee.
